John holds a real estate Broker license and has been managing rental property in Wausau for well over 20 years. He has been involved with residential, commercial and industrial rental properties as well as vacant land sales and condominium development. Mr. Fischer has been the past president of the Wisconsin Apartment Association, and the Wausau Area Apt Assn., an instructor for Rental Housing Resources/WAA as well as an instructor for the UW Continuing Education program. Observing a number of new and experienced landlords going to court and having a difficult time because they do not understand Wisconsin’s complicated laws and procedures, Dr. Rent has been educating landlords on the proper way to do things and has taught classes on everything from accounting, to property management procedures, to Landlord/Tenant Law.
